From humble beginnings in 1956, the Reading Abbey Rugby Club is now home to hundreds of players, fielding teams from Under 6's to a Golden Oldies team of dads.

Our sport inspires passion, teamwork and fitness - our club fosters a strong set of values that promote sportsmanship, respect, lasting friendships and community. Although an amature club, our first XV squad down to our 4th XV, strive to be as professional as possible.

Many of our younger players have brought distinction for themselves and for us - two having gained International honours for England from the under 16s through to Colts. They set a level of achievment for others to emulate.

A sense of family, fun and pride is evident at the club and our future is bright. We are proud that the ground and substantial facilities are all ours, established by our members efforts.
